Who Uses Google+?

I have never been a huge fan of Google+ and I don't personally know anyone that avidly uses it

either. I assumed that Google+ had barely any users and definitely didn't think it had a highly active community, but I was wrong. Google+ may be behind many other social media platforms; they recently made updates in January that others had released months ago, like a zoom feature on pictures. 
After reading Mashable's article, Google+ isn't dead and these are the people still using it the most, I scrolled through some accounts listed in their article and later searched for the top 25 communities on Google+.  I was completely surprised at how many people are actually involved in these communities...one has almost four million members.😮

So who uses Google+:

• Mashable says that the majority of communities are photographers, fandoms, and specific communities like The Art of Bread, which is made up of bread making enthusiasts or bread lovers.

• As of 2015 (the most recent info I could find online) the top five communities on Google+ were:

1. YouTubers (3,968,701 members)
2. Funny Pictures & Videos (1,456,585 members)
3. Beautiful Pictures (1,446,863 members)
4. Android (1,169,381 members)
5. Inspirational Quotes (1,143,556 members)

• Facebook (which is ironic because it is Google+'s rival)
